Each life is a story

get to know mine

Growing up in the suburbs meant that a lot of my childhood was spent quite close to nature. The first time I ever felt like drawing something was at a very young age, and I got inspired by this colorful, chirpy bird perched on the bedroom window. I think I still have that first drawing with me somewhere! It’s a little kid’s drawing so it probably looks more like abstract art than the drawing of a bird, but ever since, I’ve been unstoppable! I am lucky enough to have parents who have always supported my artistic inclinations, be it in school or now. Of course, when I offer to click (read: bribe them with) great pictures of them, why will they say no, am I right? 😉

Art is not my profession, but it is definitely my most passionate pursuit in life. I draw, paint, sketch, take photographs, do some graphic design, make collages, and explore art every chance I get. I also love looking at other artists’ work, both budding and famous. Although I find endless inspiration in exotic works of art like Andrew Cooper’s, I also enjoy my share of minimalist art by the likes of Frank Stella. My favorite source of inspiration will always be Mother Nature with her vast and most colorful canvas, the Earth!
